So how do you think the situation is now between the most recent versions of the program (or even a the next oldest version, or the next oldest)? Or do you use the older versions because they are faster..?

Which program do you consider best for you in composing workflow?

What are the differences of the programs, what can you do with Wavelab that you cannot do with Soundforge, vice versa., etc..?

And if you think some other software would better, please tell it

This blank vs. Blank thread again...

Well... caint beat'em join'em.

I vote Wavelab, and now with the new Mac vertion I double vote Wavelab.

I have no details or specs, I just like the flow and The rack for all the plugins.
Still have not found one thats as good for me,
I was useing it for making premasters for tracks so I could play them on a big system, I been doing it all in my DAW right now.           \\\"Invoking the inner dancing buddha with future frequencies from beyond\\\" ~GyPsy

I have no clue about Audition.Soundforge was there since day one on pc no joke, but I still know only a bit since I used only a few functions to clean up my audio recordilngs back than. Now I know a bit more and love the plug in chainer or the synthesis level.
Wavelab is the expert analyser for me and has great meters for (pre)mastering and usefull options to burn a good cd in creative ways.I spend the most time in wavelab but them both are so good.I have no favourite between them. Both are my favourites
It is a pity that Wavelab chainer is kinda limited though. You can use 9 plug ins at the rendering section of Wavelab while Soundforge has no limit at this stage.           https://soundcloud.com/shivagarden

Soundforge here too, plus audacity!
They work great.

I haven't tried wavelab nor Audition.
But I believe they do the same things. One might have some extra features...
