Hi I was wondering if anyone knows if it’s possible to display bars/beats and tempo in sound forge?

Yes.
goto:
Special -> Edit ACID Properties
select:
ACID 2.0 Disk-Based, or
ACID Beatmapped
and enter your BPM.
after you entered your bpm, goto
Options -> Status Format -> Measures & Beats.
this will switch the grid mode to 'bars and beats'.
if you want to see the SELECTION tempo,
FOR 4 BEATS = 1 BAR !!, goto:
View -> Toolbars -> ACID Loop Creation Tools
it will open you a toolbar with a small display of the bpm comparing to 4 BEATS (BAR).
that means that you should select accurte loop to get the bpm.
in this toolbar you will find a small button called "Selection Grid Lines", enable it to see the grid lines per BEAT in the SELECTED BAR.
Hope i helped
Have a nice day |
