On the project im working on, allt the sounds sound real clear and phat on my monitors as well as in my headphones. The problem is when i connectesd my laptop to a regular speakers and all the sounds, especially kick and bass sounded real blurb. Anyone know what this is about? should i work on the bass and kick first on speakers and then only continue the worlk on my monitors?
I appreciate some comments

listen your tracks to the most speakers you can, you ll see what is wrong on the monitors and your room ,with time you ll know how to compensate so the mix stay well balanced on most speakers. |

lets suppose you use your soundcard and not just the internal one from the laptop. and also lets suppose your listening room is not super small like 2 by 3 meter or so. if kick and bass sounds good on your monitors but it sounds bad on several hifi's(burn a track on cd and try at friends hifi-systems). you most probably have a problem with your monitors. what monitors you have? |

Im purchasing now a Soundcard for my laptop. I think i will buy M-Audio Audiophile USB since i m not that rich. I have KRK rp 6 monitors but i could not listen to the track on the monitors since it is at my girlfriends house. I will try to listen to it on several Hi FI and check the difference |
