Two years in the making, Circuit VIII and IndigoKids are - finally - delighted to announce the release of Soulclipse: A Universal Trance Gathering, a unique music documentary filmed exclusively at the Soulclipse Total Solar Eclipse Festival. Far more than just a ‘video compilation,’ this movie is the most revealing look yet at the vision behind the psychedelic trance scene, as well as a fantastic record of probably the most memorable festival in the history of the scene! Check out over 10 minutes of exclusive samples in high-quality streaming video at http://www.circuitviii.net/soulclipse
Soulclipse: A Universal Trance Gathering will be released on DVD on 29th March to coincide with the second anniversary of the Total Solar Eclipse over Antalya, Turkey in 2006, which was the central focus of the Soulclipse Festival. However, the movie will also be available for digital download through a variety of providers including Brightcove and Musicane, from 1st March through our website and other download services, along with other exclusive content from Circuit VIII!
Soulclipse brought together musicians, artists, performers and spiritual trancers from all around the globe in one of the most stunning locations ever to host an event like this. Meet master visionary painters Victor Olenev and Carey Thompson, producers Naked Tourist, EVP and Tul, and many others, in in-depth interviews, and see the most talked-about moments from the whole festival - including dramatic footage of the near-disastrous stage collapse, and of course the Eclipse itself.
Circuit VIII is best known for the Fullmoon Festival DVD, released in 2006 on BNE/YoYo Records in Europe, and Wakyo in Japan. He has also appeared as a VJ at many high-profile events in the UK and Europe, as well as the Soulclipse Festival and ASSA conference in San Francisco, California. He is currently working on a movie celebrating 10 years of Hommega Records, to be released later this year.
With music from artists including Hallucinogen, Shulman, Ibojima, Naked Tourist and many, many more, the Soulclipse Festival movie showcases both the biggest names on the scene and some less familiar faces.
Featured Artists:
Hallucinogen - Shamanix
Chromosome & Endorian - Return to Stream
Reality Grid - Feedback Therapy

EVP - Hippy Bullshit
Bon - Internal Dragon

Would you care to explain this Circuitiv

Before you point any fingers, it is not me on Stage 6, I just followed a link by someone (on psynews) to watch some nice collection of goa psy clips and found it closed because you reported them
I fail to see why you would take such drastic action to someone who is not a threat to you, just someone who loves the scene and had collected some video clips that he found on the net and put them all in one place.
It beggars belief that you would behave like this.
Any explanation apart from a self-righteous one appreciated. |

Firstly I asked Stage6 to remove 2 videos, not to close his account - they chose to do this because it's against their terms of service to host pirated material, and this site was basically a collection of every commercial video release from the scene.
Secondly, I'd love to be able to spend months full-time on producing videos to give away. Really. Unfortunately it doesn't work like that - no sales means no more commercial video on this scene. And unlike music producers - we don't do live acts. And every movie costs more than most artists' whole studio to film, etc.
I don't know if you saw this thread:
http://forum.isratrance.com/vj-gora-dvd-ritual-manuscripts-up-records/page2/
You could argue that just running a free TV channel with every trance DVD ever made (and not paying the producers) is OK, but selling a DVD of stolen artwork is not OK. I would have to disagree. |

Don't be. I'm fine
The point I was trying to make is alot of my VJ stuff is also all over the net, as is stuff from Egnogra and Glennwizz etc.
We don't take the time to write emails to sites crying about our stuff being there, we are flattered people like it, not looking for the kudos especially if it's a clip next to AP and the likes
I will still be buying this DVD as I know and appreciate the effort made and it brings back many happy memories and it is a very well made DVD
I do not however condone the mentality of grassing up kids who like videos because my head is up my arse and they didn't mention the VJ's name because they are not into VJ's, just the music
If that makes any sense |

Great! A dvd of Soulclipse! Maybe Indigo kids will make enough money from this to be able to repay us the 8000 Euros they still owe us after our equipment died on the stage that collapsed.
Likely one....

It's actulally none of your business, so wind your neck back in darling and stick to selling DVD's OK
I will be buying this DVD of yours, am just pointing out the fact that you might need to chill a bit because you are NO superstar VJ and never will be - they do not exist and never will do.
So quit the 'holier than thou' attitude before it bites you in the ass and you look silly. |
