I have personally done this since 1997. Some events were bigger (400ppl) some of them were smaller (20ppl) I did this things out of my heart and most of them with good organization  I am not perfect all the time. I did it just for the love of music, friends and to communicate a vision.
Producing an event is a self expression event, where we create an eviroment for ppl to interpret the vision you want to provide. If you are just doing the event for the only reason of self gratification, IMHO there is where the sense of community decays and the whole experience becomes standarized and marketing driven.
IMHO that is what I love about MOE events, everyone forms part of a strong community, who is not only together for the events, but for most of the time. And the bonds within the community are strong bonds of friendship.
I just can't emphasize how great MOE artist, events, organizers and ppl who go to this events are. All for the right reasons Truly enlightened.

ok this topic is over. it is over for several reasons really so here are some explanations for this action. the main reason is that there is actually no discussion here whatsover...

at no point were you willing to discuss any suggestions or came up with anything except the repetition of the word "community" 100 times. you must realize that the only reason this thread is actually continuing is because people are giving you the respect of a fellow human being and the courtesy that u ask for, therefore taking the time to respond to you. instead of moving on and discussing, all thats happening here is your picking apart the previous responses, and lashing back with instigation. something that leads me to beleive you are not the one who is reading the words and not the other way around. the points about people having to earn "status" or "respect" is a valid one. this is pretty much self explanatory... if you dont get that, then im not sure where who you have been interacting with until now.
come to think of it, the only person who agrees with you is user: flavorself, not just agreeing with you, but defending you and instigating between you and others. your style of writing is identical btw, i will not say more in public, but i will message you in private about that. i have given you the benefit of the doubt in that your opinion is based on some experience, but at no point in this discussion did you share that you know what youre basing your opinions on, that was crucial to the kind of demands/complaints you were making.
at the end - you havent accomplished anything here except agitation (with no point on the horizon) of good community people who are the core of psytrance in the usa. this is basically reason enough to end this discussion, simply because it isnt one.

if you have any FACTS to share where you got this opinion of yours based on please do.
if you have any FACTS to share on how to improve the situation please do.
if you have anything to say here other then the constant deconstruction by you and flavorself of others to the point of absurdity please do.
if you have anything constructive to say in general please do.
if you have any merit from past experiences where you dealt with a psy commnity in the US or else where please do.
if you dont, stop wasting people's time with having to actually take the time and respond to you in a respectful way since it appears that your views are not based on anything concrete.

Sorry for bothering you all. Honestly, my point was very simple and yet most of you failed to see it, which I find rather sad.
This thread has told me who you really are, and so this is obviously not the place for me. Therefore I am out of this forum, but I do wish you luck with your "trance community".

soset if you are reading this, this thread has told me who you are as well. please do not try to go out as a martyr cause thats not who or what you are and we both know it. no need to expose more in public.
if u had any experience in the trance scene, whether it be that you actually went to parties for at least a year (not asking for much) or you have organized or taken part in any organizations' work - or seen the "backstage" of anything here, you would have some credit. also- if u told us flat out from the start, that you pretty much just landed on the trance scene in mid 2004, there wouldnt be 7 pages of responses, but you represented yourself as some respectable scene involved trance veteran and thats simply not the case, its actually farthest from the truth.
i hope you really mean it when you say you learned something about us and our community from this thread. "On the other hand, you have different fingers."
