I am really, really sad to see some of the comments here, big time sad. That is, those bad comments are seriously out of order.
Either you, people who wrote em are unlucky ones, or you are basing your comments on Montenegro 12-13 years ago. There is big difference between Montenegro today and a bit more then 10 years ago.
I can see someone commented brutality of police on Entrance festival and I seriously cant remember any bad thing happening, some people might have been arrested but that's understandable, after all its country where pretty much all kind of drugs are forbidden (keep that in mind). I was there for every single day first year and missed one day of second festival. On top of everything I have been 16 years old, that alone should tell you lots.
Yes, police was rather silly here, not just here, on Balkan as whole, but that's past (11+ years ago).
I think we still have REFRESH festival and that is electronic music festival that's happening for past, what, 5 years or so? Rumors are people who organized Entrance are responsible for REFRESH too, so go figure the rest out.
Montenegro has its problems, that is for sure, but policy brutality or anything similliar is not one of them. Hell all foreigners are welcome here, someone from Serbia is actually bound to have more problems (still, probably not any serious problems anyway) then someone from lets say UK or Italy. Thats the way of Balkan, we hate our neighbors the most (take this with a bit of salt tho, its minority of people I'm talking about).
Of course there's big difference if festival is held in Budva or some other town in Montenegro. There would be probably no chance whatsoever to had this festival go smoothly on Budva beach, but then again I doubt local authorities would allow it anyway. Seeing its in Ulcinj all I can say is keep it up (on the contrary to what will many Montenegro/Serbian ppl say because after all there is still hatred towards Albanian people who live in Ulcinj in rather big majority).
Let there be no mistake, I'm not Albanian, neither I have anything against any nation from Balkan. I'm originally from Croatia, but live in Montenegro for past 13, 14 years.
Although I'm not that fond of Trance and Psy music, I sincerely welcome and look forward to SONICA!

I thank you for your stands, so to remember all no-balkan people reading this forum there's no reason for worring about these aspects mentioned here months ago and already clearified.. And in Ulcinj we just found much better conditions than in Budva and so we moved there
Sonica is going to be great and many people is already excited by the idea of the wonderful beach and its amazing surrounding landscape..
So just keep this vibe high and get ready for a great experience!
Bye guys!
