One question for the organizers : will the music work at night in Montenegro ?

Thanks in advance.

@ Gino.

Why almost the same headliners as on Ozora and every other Festival. Why are you Festivals so afraid to be different?           www.beatagency.dk

Maybe because it is mostly the best that scene has to offer, there 's no doubt that young producers with quality sound exist, but any newcoming artists still have to prove themselves on smaller festivals or parties, Ozora & Sonica are not among them for sure .

This summer on Sonica you 'll have the opportunity to listen artists that are not performing on Ozora and the other way around, and thats good. Especially when these two festivals are so near to one another.

And at the end, organizers can't please everyone ;-)

That is highly subject to taste. The best to offer the last 5-7 years?

Of course festivals can do exactly as they want but they also have to be aware of that more and more people start to notice that the same artists play every festival year after year. At some point people get tired of it. Debates regarding the same artists playing 90% of the festivals are slowly starting to occur around the internet.

I dont say the names playing the festivals are not good. But there is a huge pool of equal talented artists in the scene that never get a fair chance because of reasons we can only speculate upon.

My point is to open up the eyes to the organizers and maybe try to live a little up to what this scene used to be all about. The music - not the names. People would still come to the festivals. And maybe for a change they would hear something that would surprise them instead of listening to the same live-acts year after year who basically got nothing new to play they haven't played the year before.

I see many of the same names headlining Ozora and Sonica in 2011. Just as they have the past years.          www.beatagency.dk

I can just say Sonica published its lineup already 3 months ago..
maybe you should make this question to someone else and not to me..
Sonica has been always unique in its choice inspiring many other festivals around, that trusted in our best quality psy-trance choice and tought to reproduce our music-format..
We've chosen artists whom we worked and work with, following psytrance musical process and its evolution, being so much involved in this as fundamental part of our daily life..
Sonica history is a proof of quality music and uniqueness, or at least represents the flag of psychedelic music evolution accordingly integrated with the classic roots..
Maybe bigger festivals, with bigger budgets, could try to differentiate thirselves from others..
Sonica music choice represents its trademark, what his crowd is looking for
Happy new year!

Anyway i thank you for pointing out something very interesting to discuss, and of course a delicatesubject to taste, but not for reasons of specualation
Moreover the 70% of Sonica lineup is completely new, with artists who never play before for us, and a lot of them who don't play in Ozora..
and again, i can inform everybody we are fully open to receive and check new music, as already we do.. but we have a must: extremely good production! which is something really not so easy to find ;-)
We aim to inspire new trends and styles in music and gatherings.. always hoping to be different and unique!
that's Sonica

Fair enough Gino Then tell me why you never bothered to reply to my many emails for you to book Elysium or my downbeat project Wombatmusic (something very different than the normal psychill trend) . The production is of highest quality and according to almost 65.000 people who downloaded it also worth listening to

And if I send you a request to listen to my high rated Dj mixes would you even bother to listen or for that matter reply. I find it interesting that most Festivals have no problem in telling people to send them music when public in forums. But when artists do send the music they never hear anything back instead of they receive a lot of spam from the Festivals. Now to your credit you do not spam people but you also do not reply back..At least I never got a reply from you           www.beatagency.dk
