Sonica festival is going to move out of Italy for its 5th edition that will take place on the very friendly Montenegro country, Balkans area, on a wonderful beach with the crystal clear blue sea of Montenegrin Adriatic coast.
You\\\\\\\'ll find your shaded campsite with toilets and showers, local and international food, healing and workshops, finest contemporary electronic music, joy, happiness and extravaganza :-)
We are creating this new event with full support and collaboration of all local authorities: Municipality, Tourism Organization, Environment, Police, Medical and Firemen departments.

Well, we are considering any difficulty and risk as usual, and sure about that nothing worst than the italian law about tolerance on drugs. Anyway whenever the well-balanced situation would turn in something unexpected, we already have other safe options in the Balkans to react immediately.. Anyway looking over these aspects is good to point out that Sonica Festival is a gathering with many more fundamental topics and its purpose is to spread a message of peace, solidarity and union as they are values that no where more than in all Balkans can be accepted and supported in order to develop the youth integration within the worldwide community.
We are actually focusing on these contents in our deals with local institutions and authorities. Moreover We'll count on the collaboration of the major promoter groups active all over the Balkan countries according to our wish to build a new multicultural community where growing and preserve our believes.
As for all the previous editions our basic aim is to offer you another special experience in touch with nature, international crowd and the greatest contemporary electronic music ever!

The drug laws in Montenegro aren't so harsh at all, we have potential for making the best parties in the world it's just we are small country and some people don't know we even exist. But if you look at the nature that surrounds us u will be amazed..During the summer we have lots of tourists from all different cultures and parties with electronic music are very wanted and visited, also there is a local psy trance crew that makes hell of a good parties and as a part of that crew I can say that we would be more then pleased to help u organise this event, because this is what we were looking for our whole life, a festival that would shake the nation This is the ideal chance to show how to party proper way....ps. You choosed a good location.

I really hope that you know what are you doing.
I don't mean to spread any negative energy, but local mentality and understanding for psy trance festival on this place will be on serious test.
Jazz beach is a really beautiful place, but you don't have a clue who can come down the mountain.
Local police will look like werebearman, around 2m tall, with connected eyebrows, and very or no understanding whatsoever.
You have to deal very precisely with local authorities, or you will have trouble of your lives, believe me.
I sincerely hope that you will succeed, but do not underestimate thier resoning for something they never seen before down there.
The last big trance party in montenegro was on Rose, called Entrance, in abandoned submarine bay.
It was partly successful, but police brutality was well remembered.
One more time, make very precise arrangements with local authorities, and everything will be fine |

I think there's no big difference between law issues on drugs in Montenegro than in Hungary, Italy, Greece or Croatia. Drugs are illegal so every attendant should be aware of this. I am sure that organizers know what are they doing, so let's just spread positive vibe around this event and support them in making this sort of festival in such a beautiful surrounding of Jaz beach.

Differently from illegal raves, Sonica has always been a legal festival, that means that We've always made all the regular procedures in respect of the national law and with all the authorazitations and permits of the local institutions and authorities. All the production of Sonica Festival is coordinated with Authority's rules and according to official institutional agreements.
So we've never thought to feel on risk just because of our establishment and our setting-up.
Feeling so free from some matters of concern, we're looking forward to a magic new experience on a so beautiful beach, its back green field and your full positive vibe

WoW, what announcement! just back from OZORA festival and I have what to see! Full support for this event, especially because Sonica is one of my favorite festivals.
