A small project got off the ground a couple of months ago @ http://sonic-energy.net

Our goal is to have a place on the web with reviews of the most innovative and quality psy trance coming out these days. From progressive, to morning to full on... or whatever you want to call it... the idea is to have a representative sample of all categories. It is NOT however, a place to review everything under the sun, mainly because there are other places for that (like this once for instance), so what we do is grab the crème (from our own biased opinions) and put it under one roof. Admittedly there are good number of tunes and labels that are not yet covered, but there is constant work in progress... The place is however very presentable at this point in time, and in the short while we have been up and running we have managed to amass a decent amount of respectable releases and the effort keeps growing.

If you were to meet someone today that did not know what psy trance is and you wanted to point to him to good examples of where the scene stands today I believe this would be a good place to start.

We are also opening small journals to fill the gap on the releases we miss from our review and with a newly open section on oldies the idea is to have a small place for the absolute classics as well.

Not claiming much else, really… You might find yourself thinking “how could they miss X” and you might be right… but I guarantee you will find at least a couple of things you will agree with. So, now you know

Last time i checked Shift got mention in there... that has to count for something. Once again please notice we are not trying to review the world back, but a selection from a number of collective opinions

Thank you for the kind words... we do what we can and we get a fair amount of help from good reviewers.           elementoftime.net
