I think you can elaborate a little bit  there are numerous art forms related to sonic art... being obly audible art, and combinations with video, still art and even interactive with large structures where you walk about and the sound arround you changes depending on where you are in what position... I've seen some great examples of this outside the trance scene.
So far i think it's rather untouched within the art scene, even though i can imagine a large interactive installation where you can walk trough structures and influence the sounds around you can be an awesome experience... maybe this is an idea for some future festivals
