Hi there,
If i got a song with beat and vocals, is there a way to cut of the beat so i get clean vocals?
I only got the mp3 file and i need the vocals.

Thanks in advance

well...you could try EQing the beat out.

Just put a high pass on the mp3 and slide it up the frequency range until it starts to cut out the vocals, then move it back down a little bit

do the same thing for the high end if there's percussion or something.

It will be hard, and most likely won't sound clean unless it is a very sparse track, or you're very good at it, or a combination of both.

try to find an acappela version            If you want to make an apple pie from scratch...you must first invent the universe

Google it,YouTube aswell, but in most of case every procedure fail, you will see why...there are some defferent techniques but not very reliable and depends on material!Dont expect perfect quality, but average with lot off EQ-ing and processing might work!

after enough of intense tries in the past I'd say it's impossible better forget it or accept the voice will have its origin backgroud even if filtered.Sure, you can do it that only voice remains, but the quality will always suck at the end like 5 bit of sth.
If you will convince yourself go for equalizers, filters, denoisers etc.Or better forget it and sing it yourself, with a pitcher -12 semitones ,small reverb and a minimal flanger to the right maybe or sth hehe.

Theres few things to do but im asking why dont you get/jump into an higher level where you are doing your own voice pad by yourself , Its eazy and fun and yours . Why to suffer and torture yourself .. Theres so many vsts you can use to creat them all perfectly . Never stuck on those net samples , You never know where is done and how (And i didt talk yet on the quality) When its yours you control everything .

I belive that in life we should always try and walk in the safe short way .. So for voices i tape them all by myself and its can be everywhere , Any sound (Right voice its not only the sound its also how you want to get it to creat flow in your track and get in your music what that you want or mean and not a maybe nice net sample but somthing that force you to fit and integrated yourself in , All must be inverse) .

Try use always wav files at your creation for an better sound and development .

Good luck ..
