...cakes can walk too, but maybe a bit silly...=(-;

sonar supports dx, but there is a vst-adapter available (...don t know how s working ).
cakewalk is rewire 2 too ( if u like to work ahead with reason... )

what "gives a point to cubase" is, that u ll find more help on the www, and that it s more flexible (...more "pro"-like )

sonar is something between reason and cubase, so u ll move later to cubase (...or logic ) either.

about vst(i):

search the forum and go to http://www.kvr-vst.com/inst.php
then use a searchengine...=(-;

about your host:
keep in mind that emagic became bought by apple and so it wouldn t be further developed for pc...but if u like to get a mac sooner or later...i would go for logic...

I agree with you people , i had a go with both programs and when i prefered sonar in the beggining because it had the typical windows interface , i switched to cubase sx.
But i do not think that sonar is crap, is just that in europe, logic or cubase is more popular when in the states they use almost every body use cakewalk products .
It has to do with which sequencer you feel more comfortable and how much you can make out of it.
