i think the cover is really nice, and mean something. I like the 4 little square thingies, back here i was about to make a CD cover like that but with picture instead of color. If you look at the 3 cover(single, album and DVD) you can see a pattern in the 4 square and the cover. I know the 2nd single will be maroon violet like cover. One of the best releases ever, a milestone in our scene - like their releases have been all the last years.
Such a Groove. Such kinky Move .
Really think Seb and Markus did the best they could have been doing for this Albumrelease.
IMO the Cover is very stylish and purely minimal design - scandinavian design ;-)
and like mr Spannungsbogen said it´s name is COLOURS ...

Less is more - at least in this case. I think it fits the concept perfectly, and in my opinion it’s certainly better than the standard psychedelic fractal covers we saw years ago, or the new trendwhore “lets-use-this-random-3d-thingie” style we see on 50% of the new covers.
But in the end it's just a matter of taste

It's always interesting to talk about covers, graphics and the thoughts and concept behind it. If you really want to get the picture of the graphical concept behind this release you have to buy the vinyl versions of the single and the album.
A special and innovative cover is not always the one that looks the best at the beginning since people isn't that familiar with the new graphical language. Like with music it can take some time to enjoy new things ....
I can understand if people think that the first cd single looks very simple but like with many other concepts this colour release of four products need each other to be fulfilled ... that's one part of a conecptional idea.
Another big and important part of the graphical/musical idea (in this project) is that it can look monochrome on the outside but when you open the cover (listen to the music) the colours (feelings) comes out!!! To use an old but good cliché … don’t judge people on the outside, the inside is the important part!!!
Anyway I can promise you that Marcus and I have been discussing and planning the graphical concept four half a year before we came up with the final idea. In normal cases the guy how makes the graphic makes a couple of examples and the label/artist choose the one they like and make some extra comments and requests … personally I enjoy much more when I can feel and see that the music, the names and the graphic goes together in a united thought from the artist.
So before you make your final judgements let’s wait for the other colours!!!
