Dear Japan!
I just want you to know that we're going to make a DVD live recording the 25th of October on the Stargate Halloween party.
We're doing everything we can to make this the best gig ever. Together with us we will have two of Swedens best graphic designers playing VJ live together with us. The VJ material will be projected on big screens behind us and all the graphic is special made to each of our tracks.
If you like the Son Kite music please be with us on this party and help us to make this gig worth a DVD!!!

hi seb! No doubt this will be the most special party for the year 2003.especially if u love sonkite. Add to the fact that this will be a halloween party with everyone all dressed up.... it will be a hell of a party for sure. I`m also curious to find out about your special live set. but i`ll wait as a surprise. many tracks from your up coming album?? and many classics?? waitin to find out....all the best!! |

Good luck Seb. I wish i could see you at the party! I am sure this party will be CRAZY. Its a new location and its a very famous location. Im so suprised stargate got this place, its amazing.

There will be a lot of new stuff from the album and of course some of the classics.
I'm also sure that the party will be something special ... like always it's as much depending on the people as on us.
Come with a big smile and a lot of positiv energy ... we'll have!!!

what a party!! this being a halloween party with many people with costumes and the location of the party being inside venus fort( a beautiful shopping mall) i can say that it was a real successful party.
a quick review of the party. when i got their dj sal was heating up the floor with his latest hard prog. It was also nice to see him really getting involved with the crowd as he seemed to be really enjoying his set. next up was son kite`s live!!! this being a recording for the upcoming dvd, seb told me that he was kind of nervous. but it seemed like that turned into giving them a more positive energy!! when their live started the floor was PACKED!! and the sound was simply rockin 
Their live set was another great journey. it seemed like i had listened to a single one and a half hour track. Many tracks that i had never heard of but when that new killer track (samothraki track wanted for its track name in the forum) hit the floor the whole place just went crazy, and this ended up being the highest point at the party. They ended their set with wanderer,a track that seems to be the perfect end to a perfect son kite live. I was simply amazed with their performance once again. One thing that could have been better was maybe the sound system. the place being a shopping mall, the surroundings kind of killed the sound..... but its ok it was all good! oh and after son kite, emok continued on as the party kept on rockin . i was too tired by this time that i had to leave.... missed the minilogue live....
my overall thought. Nice party with nice imagination by stargate. They know how to be creative by getting these nice locations and the theme of the halloween. good job, and hope u get son kite back again next year!! lastly, i look forward to the new album and the dvd. people must see what kind of a a party this was. so be sure to buy this dvd and see it for yourself

These guys kick ass!!! Beautiful set at the Psytribe LA party. Thank you so much!!!!! The violin rocked. They are so amazing at what they do. (and their technical knowledge came in handy also! but you had to be there to know about that.) |

Anders - good question! I had the same one, as unfortunately I couldn't make it to that party. But according to Taku's report above, sounds like a big success. Everything groovy except the sound due to being in a wacky shopping mall. I had wondered how the acoustics would be. Anyway, I'm certainly not surprised it was a success. Hopefully I'll get a chance to see the DVD. |

We had a really great time in Tokyo (even thou we were stressing out to get everything ready for the recording).
We couldn't got a better crowd and we're very thankful that you were with us and making this happen.
See you on the release tour next spring ... will proablby be in end of April or beginning of May.

This party was very nice, in a very good place (commercial center looks like ancian roman forum)
Thx to Son Kite and Emok for the good music they played specialy Son Kite's disco track (i don't know the name but in the next albulm) and Thx to Emok for played "Metro Delux" from Atmos and "Greating of the dawn" from Dj19.
It was nice to meet you there 
The after party was also nice, with sun shine and good energies all the day long
