Oh comon plastic/synthetic generation ppl... Virus vs. TB303 or rebirth vs. TB303 led by Mike A..., Geeeezuz some time I don't understand why I even bother to answer this..
If this kind of question is asked and in the good ole Mike A's manner - "Yo man I've been there and done that... TB303 sucks and gotta go... bring me some lethal Virus instead..."
TB303 only as a legend deserves little more respect, only for the fact that without TB303 wouldn't be no Goa, no Psy and possibly no Trance, not in the way it developed that is for sure....
Now except being a legend this little monophonic/monotonic toy has the wickedest sound that reminds in it's twists human voice and full of emotion in it's respond to velocity and envelope changes... NO SOFTSYNTH can come close to the real one and it's too bad that some ppl that never ever even used it, already decided that it's no good and worthless piece of junk.
Kaz & Golan good to hear that some ppl got some sense left.
