wouldn't change it too much ...
maybe you could fade-in more percussions on the next bar
or maybe phrase/gate the lead sound a bit.
and maybe bassline could have more fatness and a bit of melody inside.

i think you should use a different bass patch.in this case,search trilogy for a guitar bass,the bass is so fat there you wouldn't believe.
tweak the envelope until it sounds fat and clean,than add eq(urs fulltec/voxengo gliss eq,awsome eq!)to cut the unwanted frequencies of the bass(not too much)like 250 hz 650 hz and under 30 hz, and boost around 80-100 hz.
don't forget that the kick has a big influence on the bass,a good bass with a bad kick is worthless.
i suggest you better start reading "the mother of all" to understand the whole image.
