Hi,
Its been a LOONG time since Ive listened to psytrance, but my interest has awakened again. When I fell out of the scene, I usely listened to the more progressive stuff like Shakta, Joti, Cosmosis, Vibrasphere, Jaia. You get the picture. Lepton head pt. 3 dado rmx is a hit. When I heard darkpsy, I almost started to cry and exclaimed to myself that trance is dead. Ive mostly listened to chillout these last years. For me trance was a spiritual thing and it helped me to connect to the lowest and highest parts of my beeing. Darkpsy is for me just a headfuck.
I would really like some recommendations to get back into the groove. Ive started producing my own music and now I want to experiment on making trance for mind, body and soul. Make music that shakes up the emotions and takes you on a ride. Its a long way to go, but its good to have some vision. Anyway, hope to recieve some replies and get down to do some serious listening.
In advance, thanx

there is about 600 releases per year in trance (psy) , be sure there is good bad and ugly music in it.

If you like downtempo, I'd HIGHLY HIGHY recommend the new Argaman album "My Little Forest". It's not out yet, but I've had the privilege of listening to it, and I'd daresay it's better than Shpongle.
Think: dub meets downtempo meets Eastern European gypsy music meets Tim Burton.
