I got a few strange problems that I would really appreciate if someone could help rectify.
In Cubase VST32, I am trying to route part of NI Battery channels using aux sends to a group, in this case Grp 8 (so soon-to-be-wet signals are in a group together), then Grp8 is routed to Bus4 which goes to my Mackie board and then into a Lexicon effects processor. This way I am setting independant wet signal sends on each perc instrument.
It works great, the problem comes when I save my song and open it again. Every time I restart Cubase, those Aux send effects are still 'On' and at the same levels, but the output is disconnected from Grp 8 and is just black. This means every time I start up I have to go and reset each individual aux send to grp 8 to get my effects working. Does anyone know, perchance, how to stop this? It is really a bother.
Second, a new problem that has popped up recently. (Funny how these things come out of nowhere!) Running Cubase and then opening Reason for rewire, I get the following error in Reason: "Cannot open Reason Engine. Please reinstall to make sure that Reason engine is properly installed". Same type thing happens with Sound Forge. I'm unable to open another audio program with one already open. It seems my sound card is (recently) not able to function using two programs at once. I am using a Echo Gina24.
Any help would be appreciated!

Yeah I've tried going directly to the Bus too, same problem occurs.
Nothing in the ASIO panel, I dunno why it won't let me multi-client.
Thanks anyways though. |
