you mean if i had hi passed the Bass?
If it's that, i didn't, if it's about too much hipass in the bass,
It maybe can be,i've just down tuned the bass, and the Low Pass filter.
You think its maybe my lead's are too much mid-range?

na i ment the whole track, dosnt seem to be any sub bass. put maxx bass on the main channel in stead of eqin stuff all over a gain, dont forget to tune it to the freqency(note) of your track.
or put the bass down an ocatve down like u said.

Thanks guys about the feedback's..
You know its very hard for me to get some good dynamics in my tracks, cause i don't have any monitors, only a cheap 5.1 creative system.
But no problem, i am addicted
My home Studio is only one Remote Sl, i know i should get the monitors first, but what a he**, now i can tweakkkkk
I've made what you told me to.
It's a better version, i think the dynamics of the track is full diferent now, listen to it, and tell me what you think about it.
Thanks a lot again ppl..

Is it cool if I ask basically the same question here? Not so much on a composition point of view but more of a production sided one.
I really think there needs to be a sticky thread in E&MP for advice on more than just a kick and bassline but less than a full track. I feel more comfortable posting finished tracks in the New Tracks section for a more general critique, rather than a production sided one.
Anyways, I think this track shows off probably some of the best production I've been able to pull off, but I need a second opinion.
I've spent a lot of time on my bass, it's HP'd at 40hz with small cuts at around 60hz and 110hz. On my monitors it sounds great, in my friend's car (with his sub unplugged) it sounded pretty weak and - as has been mentioned here - really lowers the energy of the track.
This is about a three minute sample (but it goes through a lot of emotional and musical phases so it's not just a loop )

Thanks in advance |
