being a regular guest in this forum i notice that a lot of the threads here are about what gear to choose, what is the best etc.
this link contains a guide for you who are looking to invest some time and money in building up a studio. it is probably most for beginners, but more experienced people might find it a good source of information too.

Nice one Monno, Beginners can also find info on any Computer Music Magazine cos every month there is a section just for beginners. And dont forget u will get some vsts ,Samples and news.
