Some help with this mix?

So I've been working on this track for a couple of days and feel I need some help in clearing up the mix when it starts getting busy.

Anyone got any suggestions for making things sound cleaner?

It might just be me, but it sounds as if things start get really muddy around 1:30.

My bass is sidechained and compressed and I've tried EQuing the kick/bass to as well as I can. I've also added 8 bars of kick and bass at the end for you to hear without any other elements. Should I remove the compression on the bass and just let the sidechaining from the kick do the work?

Is the kick/bass combo where I'm getting my muddiness, or could it be from other parts?

Any suggestions are welcome, things might actually sound pretty good and it's just my under confidence in the mix.

Thanks in advance!

sounds allright mate
its defintly not the kick bass combo... if it starts later then its the sounds that is coming in on 1:30 but i think its just dirty as much i like it..

the bass sounds too low in pitch to me ? (atleast in relation with the kick i think)

never mind , good work!

Yeah, I like low growly basslines that have a couple of high notes in them. With the sidechaining, it gives off a nice "pulled-around" sound.

Thanks for listening! Really appreciate it. Will post the full version in New Tracks when it's done.

if your bass wouldnt be that deep, there wouldnt be that muddieness.
it comes with 1:30 because the other instruments simply cover the freqs of your bass.
you could solve that if you would would pitch your bass 2-4 notes higher. just my opinion.

cool song, especially the bass

So just before my HDD died, I bounced out a complete MP3 version. No WAV exists.

Let me know what you think. Really happy with it.

Just wish I had a fat 24-bit export of it.
