I just upgraded from my Oxygen 8 v2 to an Edirol PCR 300 today. I'm really enjoying it thus far, but need some help with setting up control maps.
Using the default 0 control map, it seems that all the rotaries are assigned to CC16 and other controls also seem to share the same CC number as their counterparts. (So assigning a parameter to the first rotary will be controlled by all the other rotaries, which is quite bothersome.)
I've tried using the PC editor but it doesn't seem to do what I want it to...I'd like all those controls to be freely mapable in software (Cubase SX3, Reason and Live) or on a VST like my Oxygen was...Any ideas?
Edit: I seem to have gotten exactly what I wanted out of Reason by using it with the Dynamic Mapping function on the PCR...How can I get this same kind of performance in Cubase? The closest I've gotten to separate, mappable control is using the 15th (F) control change which is Motion Dive Tokyo. (Whatever that is) |
