Ive got cubase 4 and a Edirol FA-66 soundcard with the midi in/out on the FA-66 plugged into a Virus b. The output from the Virus is going directly into the 'line in' on the FA-66 and im using cubase to monitor the input. My problem is that there is slight delay from what I hear monitored and what is actualy being played on my other channels in cubase. Is this a latency issue with the processing of the incoming data in cubase or is it something completely different? Will I need to buy a mixer and have line in from the virus go though that instead?
Any help would be much appreciated. Peace. |

this must be a latency issue. what latency is set at your sound card control panel (in ms or buffer size)?

Ive tried all the settings from small to large and they dont make a difference. When I say a slight delay I mean around a 64th of a beat, but its very annoying as it sounds like an off mix. |
