Just got this in the mail about a new club that's opened in Queens NY. I thought maybe some of you organizers could throw events there? It looks awesome for a psy event. It's called SOMA and no, I'm not affiliated with them.

Mukti, please explain to me what you are trying to do so I can better understand your mission and your goals. I'm only trying to help because you are one of the few organizers whose events I enjoy the most.

Mukti,
I think this place can definately work out for a great party  . The only thing is you would need to do is to organize a go go dancers along with a few cages, bring in a few old-school house/rap dj's, or even better disco band from the 70's.  Did you see the disco ball in that club? "Shiny disco balls" rule!!!  |

It looks like a nice place. I see what Mukti is saying - it looks a little too comercial - so i can see why the TDC Peeps would not like it so much. But that said it looks there is a lot of space in this place and it does have a nice name - but still i think the crowd will be like spirit or avalon. |

I doubt the crowd would be like spirit or avalon because it's located in Queens and it's just opened. And you can't really judge by the pictures if it's commercial or not. It could be a great place. It just needs someone to go and scout it out. You can't really knock it until you try it right? I thought it would be a nice change of pace from Club 7 and its elderly bingo night look and feel of the space.
But it's cool. I see now that you like to keep it very "underground". Mukti, nevertheless, I respect your decision. Was just trying to help. See you soon..
