++solution to find music in parties++

i find it a problem to hear some tracks in parties that i would really like to buy but i have no title and sometimes no artists name(in case that dj spining music of others).
now in psytrance music its not really easy to find out who made the same perticular track and what is the name,what do you think would be the solution for that? |

asking the dj is a good one,
other, is trying to get a very particular thing of the tune that u can explain and later asking here in the forum (like a voice sample or something else...)theres a section for that kind of things... ("unidentified" section)

well...asking the dj can be annoying for him after a track or 2.....
i thought maybe a list or something but that wouldnt be possible... |

well not nowing all the other traks that in a party it´s perfectly normal...otherwise we wouldn´t b surprise by new traks and stuffs like that...but follow the advices of our friends that they are right!

just bring some portable recorder .. it will solve 50% at least ..
though asking someone nearby not always a good idea

I always thought that it would be a good idea to place a huge screen behind the DJ that would play fractals and visuals and that in the beggining of each track it could display the name of the tune on the screen

^ a good idea but there are technical difficulties.
I used to be in the habit of recording set lists with precision and posting them wherever the reviews for a party go up... but then I found that no one cared much at all.
I've always questioned the notion that the DJ plays the role of music informer to the audience - in other words, passing on the work of the artists to the public... but how can this be if track titles aren't made clear? Especially when the DJ is pulling a snob gesture and not telling anyone what his super-cool elito burrito unreleased kILLLLLLAR hits are?

Good idea detox, but it doesn't have to be that advanced, it's enough with a simple little screen at the DJ place that displays the name. But I think most people don't really care about the music, as long as it's psytrance.

I'm with detox also. It can be advanced if some organizers put some effort into it. It seems many support the idea so it would be nice if some work would be put into it. I still have some songs on my mind that I said were among the best I heard, but still I searched so hard to find them and couldnt.
