Just wanted to share this album, felt it warrants a new thread rather than a quick mention in the 'I recommend' thread. I'm very impressed with Electronic Soundscapes as a quality label, the v.a 'Polymorphic Convolutions' is never far from my mind...
Anyway, I'd never heard of Soltek before so checked out this release whilst looking in the Alexander Daf release (thanks sunstation ) . I was taken by the samples for this straight away even though they are short so ordered myself an mp3 version. The album starts off in outer space, beatless and ethereal then glides through to some moody electro tweakage into wobbly ambient house territory. Sounds interesting?? then keep listening, last two tracks go deep into mystic beats with a sub glacial ending.
Incidentally very pleased with the service from the label team, I had a glitch with the downloading process which was efficiently dealt with and I was offered a free track from Solteks' other (more upbeat) album .
