looks lke the solstice crew is putting together an outdoor party this summer..too bad it is the same weekend as planetary nation party..what do you guys think??

cosmomochan. i absolutly agree with you. prices for partys in japan are way over the head. why not forget about all the material shit and turn to mother gaya fo as little as one day. commercialization=globalization=bullshit. |

it is not underneath of Mt. Fuji.
The party price is based on the cost ( Venue rent fee, Artists travel and Live/Dj performance fee or whatever you call ) so whoever complains or being negative about it, you should not go otherwise I am sure you will keep bitching about the price at the party as all my friends did.
Remeber this is not a party, EVENT.
Please do not argue this again over and over like in the past, this represents very much of Japanese trance scene in good and bad way and nothing much else left in the result.

Not too many parties near MT.FUJI anymore. The Psy crowd just about got kicked out from that place. Too much, garbage and disrespect to nature.
So about solstice and planetary nation, i think the crowd will just divide. People who like the Planet Ben style, and peolple who like the GMS style. No problems, i think both will get the crowd they want.
Good luck to both organizations.
As for 10000yen one day party!! wow! very expensive, but looking at the line up i can understand.
So all those who think its damn expensive... You must understand just how much money they put into these parties... Venue doesnt come around cheap. Artists expect so much when the play in japan. all this just leads to higher costs... |

Also Solstice provides the best Deco I have to say.
Thus the cost to create the decoration is covered by the organizer or paid to deco artists.

Wow 75 euro is a lot of money indeed.
In Greece we have a festival in September with Sasha,Digweed,Deep Dish,Miss Kittin,Infected Mushroom,Total Eclipse,X Dream and more and it costs 40 euro.
I think the Solstice guys should lower their prices a little,it will be good for both them and the people

This will not make sense nobody but Japanese native or residents. As Hirkari explained, everything is so expensive.
But I also have to mention that their "event" is business only. I am against this to call Festival or Party.
