Would any of you say the bass in the Solo6 BE's is better and bigger, or as big as the bass in the BM6A's?

Well limited by physics a 6.5" driver however good it is can only go down low to a particular frequency.
So if you want sub sonic bass(below 40hz) a subwoofer is the way to go whereas if you just want accurate bass down to 40hz then that depends on how the driver/speaker and how accurately it can reproduce those frequencies

So many of you would claim the low end is solid? |

So I'm buying the Solo6's, would any of you think the Sub6 for below 40hz is required to produce heavy psytrance? |

Also if you want to know how low the driver actually hits audibly you can download test tones and check that.

I got the Solo6's Very impressive sound quality. The definition is very good. SUPER FLAT! But smooth and easy to listen to. It seems like I will be investing in the sub6 at some point. But I'm going to try and make it work without the sub. I'm loving the low mid definition these babies have. Thanks to everyone for their assistance |
