I'd love to pick this up, but after adding in shipping and currency conversion, this comes out to about $35USD. I really need to move to Europe since 90% of my music addiction is supplied from there. I'll have to give this some thought. I can fully respect the price you need to sell it at for all the time and effort put into it. I just need to discuss this with my wallet.

Is it double? Is it going to be avalable
from Psyshop or Saiko?

Hi,
You should fully read:
http://altar.fonderieart.com/air.html

It's limited press, 300 hand-numbered copies only.
I save on quantity, therefore quality is on the first plan: great artists, stunning quality 100% recyclable - Eco packaging, etc...

By the way Techmonkey Priority Air Mail shipping is included on 22Eur, there's no fees added.
The price includes everything. So it's more like $29usd.

Thx for your interrest!

Ah. Well that's good news about the shipping. Every little bit helps. After weighing it out a bit I've gone ahead and placed my order.

Ugh ... expensive ...

I'd rather buy next 2 Somnia releases (also "limited editions, great artists, stunning quality 100% recyclable - Eco packaging, etc...").

Wish you the best regardless.           http://www.chillumafia.com

Thx! but do not compare "limited edition" with 777/1000 CD's out from the press which are obviously sold and distributed for 10eur+ on other labels with my Altar Recs. concept to print only 300 items

If I sell my 300 CD's 10eur, it's not enought just to pay artists!! lol

It's a choice a made and I assume that!

Why not to compare? Are 777 copies somehow worse than your 300? Why to make it so exclusive and expensive at the same time? Playing with hardcore collector's addiction isn't nice imho. I;m assuming you know the price Ultimae was selling "Extended" and "Aftermath" for?

Not trying to piss on your parade - just presenting my opinion

Peace.           http://www.chillumafia.com

Hehe it's simply a marketing issue!: So when you print 777 CD's you'll get 7770 euro selling them 10.
When I'm printing only 300 of them, selling 300 CD's at 10euros = 3000, so just enough to pay artists, no enough to pay press and everything else, that's obvious

I should sell them 30eur if I really want to make money, but I calculated the lowest price possible to then having enough to start on the next on the series, so "Water", "Fire", etc etc...as I pay my artists and everything else by advance...

Plz don't think that I want to make money filling on my wallet and be happy. It does not work this way to me, ..

Same thing about old rarities, those I sold over Discogs and Ebay it was money to start on Altar Records, that's it !

I found my life is pleasant doing what I do

Cheers!

shame I won't buy this then, despite the samples being so nice. I can get 2 cd's elsewhere for that price!          I hate you, you hate me, we are all so hap hap happy!

Some very valid points made by Damon.
Judging by your reply looks like you misunderstood what damon tried to say.
Ultimae did not charge $29 for their limited editions but you are.

Give him a break. Ultimae was the established company.
when the got out these limited additions. They had money.
I think, he has the point saying that in order to make the
second release, he needs money. It's simple: if I would
not going to like something- packaging, music or the price, I won't buy the second release. And I think, he should stop to sell preorders for CDs, which are not exist yet. This is kind of awkward.
I ordered my copy, just to support the new label and
the great artists participating in this project.
