Hi, has anybody heard any news of any festivals being held to celebrate the Solar Eclipse on 29th March 2006. It travels up through N. Africa and Eastern/Southern Europe/Asia. I've heard the best viewing could be in Turkey for around three & half minutes of totality. I saw the one in Europe in Aug 1999 and was at the desert in Australia in Dec 2002, absolutely awesome experiences - but they were for only one & half mins and 27 seconds respectively, so next year should be amazing. |

Have seen about the one in Tunisia this year, but it's not a full eclipse, just an Annular one, party does look good tho. Still waitin 4 news of something happening next year. Surely something's going to be happening for all of us. |

theres some organization for a psychedelic gathering and celebration of the solar eclipse in turkey in the kaz mountains. Its gonna be awesome.

sorry this is a festival in 2005, not for the eclipse. an organization for the 2006 eclipse is being done so I'll keep you up to date with developments.
