Hi,Waves Trans X is very good but expensive.You should also give a try on 'Dominion'from Digital Fishphones,it's freeware but very very good.

BTW: Hehe, the guy behind digitalfishphones works for magix (berlin) and I once worked for them *gg* funny to get back there via this forum....

There is an actual SPL transient designer but only for the Pulsar/Scope platform.

The ohmBoyz Predatohm and also Logic's enveloper seems to do somewhat the same thing.
