Hi,
anyone knows something like tapeit but for mac ? please?!
do you want to make a multisample of a vst/au? i would take the recordbutton of logic to record loops or a set off singleshot notes. as i know in ni kontakt its possible to slice the loop and map the slices to keyboard.

Hi,
I want to record phrases on the fly, like synth stabs, Hits, Bleeps etc.
Looks like the only interesting alternative is Transfuser. But $$$
TapeIt2 for mac would be optimal since it allows direct drag and drop to Kontakt / Battery. Recording first to an audio channel kills the creative flow imo. For multisamples it's ok since you anyway have to tweak the patch but for single shot stuff ...

But why don't you just record into your sequencer?

Edit:
Ok, now I see what you mean:-)
Hmm, I'm affraid I can't help you with this issue.
Would be a great idea though, to have it all in one simple sampler.

i found this video of logic.
so you can route all your vst´s to a temp. track for recording you live playing and tweaking. then you can simple drag and drop to the logic sampler exs24.

I don't use Logic, but I basicly do the same at the moment, record to disk,
1 save it and
2 import it to
3 Kontakt
