Just a quick query regarding windows XP. I am installing a bit of software and i need to import a registration entrie file in to the registry. How do I do that?

Is it just a matter of dragging the file into the system folder?

Double-click on the .reg file.

Before you do that, windows key+r and run regedit.exe to back it up.
