I'm progressing whatever I'm doing.
But I feel there is something missing.
I was thinking about buying more VST's
but I herd the suggestion that I should
get more hardware.

I wanted to get other opinions and ideas on this.

first really learn the software, then after you think you know it inside out, then get hardware

well... you kind of jumping over your belly with this question....
first get yourself a decent pair of monitors and sound card only then you`ll be able to realy hear what your doing with the software vst.
thinking about hardware vs. software b4 you got a decesnt listening equipment is completly usless.

if you do have the basics start looking around. play with a friends hardware synth`s or go the store and try some. get to know some hardware and some softweare and then decide which is better for you and which will give you the better result in the end. (also take the time factor into concideration).           if u dig deep enough u just might reach the sky...

hardware,but it depends.
tc powercore virus and no other sounds the same with virus c hardware synth.
Uad comps or rvrb kicks ass but costs really close to hardware

I d advice not to start spending all your money to electronics, but if u really like what you are doing and u wont stop your digital hobbie after a month start with a good pair of monitors and a good ad/da.

Dynaudio and rme fireface audio interface for example are expensive but its industry standard and u wont need to change these for many years.

Synths and stuff will come after, btw soft synths comes better year to year, but its hard to get tha indepented hardware device clarity .

So its a matter of the cost,actually..
usually expensive products gives quality and u wont regret it for a life           HTTP://www.decadancerecords.it/audioplug

no i aint never tried the mic on anouther interface mainly cause i aint got a spare.

The lexicon Alpha is usb and the mic is connected with XLR. outs from card to ins on Hifi

i dissables the original soundcard in the bios so dont think its conflicting with that.
