Hey isratrance
wanted to ask you about software or HARDWARE to record long hours dj sets
I want to know if there is a software that can not only record the dj set but also save it while recording.
I am asking because if I am thinking about recording long dj set 6-12 hours live and i am afraid the software will crash and all the work will be destroyed
also wanted to know if you know any hardware the can record this kind of long dj set? because hardware cant crash like software..

hardware... maybe a digital recorder. best with AC power ahah!

how about two laptops ? should work. one extra in case the first crashes.. then you have a back up and you can restore the first to record further.

I have only my computer and its not gonna change soon
I am talking about software which will function like tape recorder, if I would record to a cassette like in the 80`s-90`s even if there was crashing of the electricity the music which was recorded was on the cassete.
I need the same thing but with temporary file or something like that |

I have a Zoom H4 with 2 gigs sd which can be changed, the thingy is not expensive and a great tool, not only for set recorsing, it is sufficient to also record sound samples. Been using it a lot !!!
You can record wav up to 24 bit, also different sampling rates are supported and mp3 as well!
