1st try atomixmp3 its easiest one

i prefer the traktor...i think it runs smoother than atomix...its more stable i think...but never think of mixing mp3s while ur pc is doing some other shit, because this would lead to system crash, also in traktor           Anakoluth A Pebble in Your Eardrum's Shoe since 2001!

atomix and traktor..they are ok..both hav 1 big fault..

THEY DO AUTO BEAT MATCHING!!

well its a drawback for a wannabe dj bcoz learnin to beat match is very important and due to such software that "skill" will be eliminated......           aGh0Ri TanTriK

if u are a mac user, get a pair of sl1200's and simple
2-channel mixer with no eq . with this kit u can do
beat matching better than any existing software .

Traktor works well on a mac - I have started using it on my powerbook and it is great. I agree that you should learn to beat mix first - get comfortable with vinyl and CD's and then move on to Traktor. I think the mix all happens on the mixer anyway, so who cares whether the program keeps the beats synched or you do it with your fingers?

Traktor 2 seems the most proffesional Dj software.....

But I like use Traktor 1           ..."Be yourself, let your conscience guide you...
Follow your heart, not the people around you"

I think that BPM Studio is the best program...
u all beleive that traktor is a good program, bcz it makes your life easier.... but if u want a program that realy compares to the DJ's work, try BPM Studio. it has a tempo change and not only pitch control, the new 4.7 version detects BPM Automaticly, it has a sampler, a better mixer, and some more stuff...
Traktor is good, dont get me wrong. looks pro, and behives like 1. BUT! .. i think that BPM Studio is better, donno why...
PCDJ is not such a good program, and there's also MJ Studio which is not so good as well.
the 3 programs i'd reccomend :
1) BPM Studio 4.5-4.7
2) Traktor DJ Studio 2.0
3) Traktor DJ 1.06 ( they have different options... this 1 has turntables effects and other shit... but the studio 2.0 is better...)

Weaver, would you use BPM studio with the hardware or without?           "On the other hand, you have different fingers."
