I know few soft synths that really make me say wow; tight envelopes, nice filters, nice distortion, waveforms, etc...
I'd say:
- z3ta: excellent oscs, matrix, fx
- Rapture: really pro sound
- Zebra 2: tight bitch
- Sylenth1: mr. monster, tight everything.
- Surge: audio jewel
- Toxic Biohazard: unique glide and fm !!!
- Cronox 2: Precise machine
Can you mention others? I mean, really breath taking synths and i don't mean it by their preset sound but im talking about raw sound, envelope response, filter character, widening capabilities, etc. stuff that get close to hardware stuff.

complete 'second that'! I only work with those few.
I'd like to add massive for some specific fat sounding rythmic soundefx. Especially when using the comb filter, automated.
And also "nrg-a" for moody strings.
+ gladiator indeed

Could you describe what makes the Zebra filters better 'than' the filters of your TI?
