On the summer so far, and more importantly, for those of you who went, whether you thought that the Little Green Planet party was the best the UK has seen for a while....

I also wasn't at the little green planet (in fact I was with tom in oxford), and haven't had the pleasure of outdoor parties yet this summer, but I would say that by way of indoor parties the Twisted/Tribe of Frog party was exceptionally good in pretty much every way, and will take some topping.

This party was absoloutley brilliant....Music was amazing, location amazing, people great...In fact one of the best outdoor parties I've ever been to, and I've been to loads over the past 10 years or so!
Recently, I've been finding the music at parties pretty pants, but this party restored my faith!! Can't imagine that there will be a better party in the UK this year...
Those South African DJs are havin' it!!!

i thought it was one of the best parties I have ever been to as well... loads of people creating a festival atmosphere... and it just went on and on!!
I stayed till 9pm!! Ok music stopped at 4 but still...
No police trouble worth mentioning... except them making a film of us... not for hollywood I should imagine....
Maybe the police forget every year about parties, and slowly relearn? cos last year the best ones were at the start of the summer too....

I agree, without a dought the best outdoor party ive been to in the uk EVER, and probibly up in my top 3 partys ive been to in the world.
Hope we going to be getting more of this over this summer, after last year terrible party season in the uk. |

Shane - my thoughts exactly! Your set was a good 'un, nice to hear you play on a crystal clear system outdoors again....some amazing tracks...
The atmosphere was just so special all day, and I think that reflected on the police smiling and tapping their feet towards the end! Nice also to see a lot of people up with bags at the end and turning that site into a greenfields area once again!
Big wraps to the LGP crew, Liquid Connective, Synergy and anyone else who had a hand in - looking forward to next year! |

excellent party...was wondering when we were going to have an outdoor...
all i can say is that it felt like home...a proper goa party....and thats always good..
couldnt stop smiling the whole time i was there....
cant wait for the next one...

yeah definitley the most ripping party i've ever been to in the uk rinkadinks set was much better than when i last saw him lots of really uplifting tunes from the new alchemy compilation been waiting to here that exaile radio edit tune for ages, thanks to all who made it possible
