When i heard this for the first time i was a small kid in my teens! free of ne intoxication's & didn't knew the meaning of 'Psychedelic' but the feeling was psychedelic as hell (well being in india this was the very first things i heard in electronic music)

& hence i fell in luv with this project & still listen to it

tracks like,
Return to Innocence
T.N.T. for the Brain (wow)
Child in Us
Beyond The Invisible
Mea Cupa
Sadness
The Dream of the Dolphin
are immortal for me, so wot bout u guys like listnin to Enigma u find em 'Popish' ??           the problem with valuing art is, till u dont understand it, it's worthless but wen u do understand it, it's priceless!!

Enigma is decent. New age music was en vogue with the mainstream at the time, so I shied away from them and stuck to my Alio Die, Mick Harris, Biosphere, Pete Namlook, Rapoon, Nocturnal Emissions, etc. on principle. Years later I listened to them and found them to be good in a cheesy "Loop Guru" kind of way.

I used to feel like you sure_smoke_alot, and still think the old stuff are classics. But later albums are bad, and my taste has evolved to ambient. Yes, evolved, I said it, that's my view - that was one of the steps into the ambient world.           To Infinity And Beyond!

I like them. That Mars(?) album is great. They sure know how to make music that goes right into your head and makes you feel good.           http://enjoys.it

well, Enigma are ok and I think they deserve the respect for their famous hits & being pioneers in that genre, but 2b honest-i can't listen 2 them these days. Yes, maybe 'popish' is the right word....for me-they belong to the past. sorry...

Heh. Sorry. Didn't mean to offend. Some of LG's stuff is very good. Some of it is very shallow and repetitive. To my ears, at least. I've got about seven of their CDs hanging on my wall, so I don't mean to totally disrespect them.
