hey,
I'm becoming so sick of the same songs, melodies, sounds cheesy stuff used in fullon.
time to move on people.
maybe it's about time to perfect the classic goa and psytrance, especially in quality of sound....
Someone can share some tips how to start of?
like kind of synths used and fx.
maybe some old school technics for arrangement and effects?
i know that most drum sounds come from 909 and samples.
Also synths like juno,minimoog,....
some suggestions?
thx,
davinski

then move on
why copy?
my suggestion is if you are sick of something, do your own thing, don't think "ok i'll do this genre or that". just flow have fun.

you're 100% right. but also sick of the 100's of people who are eagerly trying to copy all the other crap that others create before them.
from my opinion it went downhill after 2007,2008.... lack of creativity and originality.
i understand that you have to follow a minimum of rules to get a certain style....but copying about 75% of the original???
still searching for some serious fullon?
someone got suggestions?

why do you limit ureself to fullon?, if you dont like it then listen to something else. There is a lot of psy out there.
Do what you like, experiment and find ure style. If you dont like fullon its for sure not gnna become fullon.
If you want classic psy sound, perhaps play with 303 sound?.
I dont buy that after a certain year psy went downhill, Its developing, find what you like and dont listen what you dont like .
If you want inspiration listen to this , not old school psy at all, but psy as it is when its the best(for me).

i think i've got to look elsewhere for some serious answers about goa music, cause the last 5 years didn't found much about it over here.

make full on with goa arrangement.
the first thing i would try is to make a good bassline and not the usual uninpired bass that we have heard thousands of times.. you need something that groove and inspire you to write a great storie
