Can you find me the same card in Israel for a lower price? If you do - i will consider reducing the price. Seriously.
Secondhand in same condition of course, cuz mine is secondhand in great condition.

neuromantik: I don't believe C3PO is really intending on ripping anyone off. I don't think he is/was aware of the twisted marketing by EMU.
Prices in US are not exactly relevant in Israel if there are high shipping costs and high import taxes.
Also, I don't know what the typical prices are in Isreal. All I know is that when something leaves the shop, it looses half its value immediately. That is just how the second hand market works.
I'm addressing exactly the points I address and nothing else. I don't know C3PO nor do you so we have no right in judging his honesty.
C3PO: I'm really not out to get you or anything. I'm informing the BUYERS that the claims made by EMU are bogus.

So, let's see, according to the official EMU distributor in Israel:
You can buy 1616m BRAND NEW for 3480shekels only, and 1820M for 3580shekels only! That's a great deal, isn't it?
Now, i'd like to find another place in Israel, where you can get those cards BRAND NEW for any lower prices. Where is it? I can't find it! Show me please, thanks in advance.

As i've said earlier, if you live in China you can get those cards for much lower price compared to the US, but in reality Israel isn't the US or China.
Now, your calculations are totally incorrect on too many levels...
1) What's the Exchange rated you're used here, and what exchange rates used in local music stores?
2) THere's any customs that should be paid while ordering those cards to Israel?
3) What about VAT? Where is it? Whay can't i see it in your calculation? Is it also missing?
4) How much is it?
So before you drop to your conclusions - please use the correct calculations and correct information, thanks.

C3PO offers a great deal for people that live Israel. The Audio equipment prices here are outrageous. I am buying a mixer right now from US that will be brought here by my uncle. I will be saving more than 50%. There are very few importers here and since the market is very very small they are raising the prices to stay in the market. I think we are talking around 5 shops in the center area that deal with Audio Equipment.
