Don`t think so. Lots of potential. I just have very lil time in these days. And I am sure, that there are lots of people, who are checking this section without writing. If thos would paticipate a bit, everything will be fine. |

Same situation here. I open this forum couple times daily. but don`t write all the time. This thread is prove that forum is still alive. We need some superactive threadopener to wake up us all.

I feel personally that the music has been changed, and not in a good way. And the music that did not, just repeats it all.
I guess I'm saying there's not much innovation in the art of ambient these days.
Maybe that's just me.

^Partially true.
That's the reason I shifted my interest into different kinds of grooves which causes less time spent on psychill and everything that relates to this genre ...
And FB :/

I sometimes go away for a chunk of time, but I always return and thoroughly enjoy many of the threads I read here. There are some very respectable chillophiles here with exquisite taste and the vocabulary to express their opinions, so count me as another vote for how great this forum is.
Relentlessly pursuing quality chillout. It can be a full time venture.

Agreed, except that I think a lot of other - not strictly psychill - genres have a home here too, from chilled IDM, ambient, electronica, folktonica, and modern classical sometimes too. At least that's my opinion.
Anything psychedelic or otherwise nice to listen to belongs here IMHO.

I agree. Though I want talk about my obsession with Venetian Snares here, I'll definitely talk about anything from Ishq to Kilowatts to Makyo. |
