last monday night my girlfriend ((desbah)) gave birth to a beautiful little girl, Nizhoni Lucille Zabel, **our first** and throughout the labor process we played music in the delivery room..started with some Androcell and Shpongle when they brought her in and then building up with some Troglodytes, Khaos Sektor, Enichkin, Psykovsky, The Andychrist, LCD Influence, Kanibal Holokaust, and some of mine own..she was delivered to "Bad Advice From An Old New Ager" **one of mine, will be released on an upcoming Independent Mind Records VA** ..i was a little uncertain how the midwife and nurses would respond because we didnt really say anything about the music prior..but everything went just magically..we were listening to 'Universo Seriallo' by The Andychrist, which has some brilliant Futurama samples, when desbah went complete..went something like this..
me: youre doing great des just keep breathing
duggaduggadugga
des: aaa!!
duggaduggadugga
midwife: just a few more pushes
duggaduggadugga
nurse: ok breathe deep, youre about to have this baby
me: i can see the top of her head!!
fry: so what was the point of life anyway?
des:aaaaa!!
**midwife gives suspicious look at laptop**

thank you all, yes she and baby are both doing exceptionally well!
@beat agency, i guess i missed your point..i wasnt mixing, just had a playlist going on the laptop..the fact that it was one of my tracks playing when she arrived must have been her choice |

And on the cool psy delivery experience.
P.S. It's a surprise how patient your midwives were. I'd probably turn that music off right after Androcell. |
