for psy i like more Tr drums ,if i find the snare to sound a bit weak sometimes i sidechain a gate on some equed noise . also sometimes i layer detune and pan them a bit like a synth patch .all sort of parrallel processing can work great too like on most drums, also compressing them in bus with some other sound like the kick .in psy i like the snare to answer to the bassline i try to make them interact

recently had a listen to "addictive drums" vst while i was looking for a special type of a Sabian AAX hat and have to say im quite impressed. found pretty fast what i was looking for and sounds good imo... worth to work with ?!

u can allways export some sounds[synths and stuff]... cut them off, put with a bit of distortion.. make a loop with them.. try to make it sound good with the main snare and it is done...
          I want a spare brain.... or 2.
