I strongly suggest not to use this option.
Somehow promoters got my cellphone number and every weekend I'm swamped with party SMSs.... And there's no spam filter for cellphones so far.
I've asked several promoters to remove my phone from their list, they all said 'no problem', none did.
 Please REMOVE my cellphone number from any SMS spam list you may have. Thanks.

but i dont think its a bad way to inform ppl
its not like emails - that without knowing the relevance just shoot the fliers to 1000 ppl
they must have got your number only if u are somewhere related to the scene - and yes here they are disclosing their identity - u defi know the number from where u get the message
but yes - if someone dosent wish to receive future messages - he shud be removed frm the list
