WOW!! How the trance scene has progressed since I have been there!! Way to keep it Goa'n.I left around 2001 or so so there has defitnetly been an improvment. Because there was NO scene when I was there. SO that WAY made me happy.
Other than waiting an hour and a half to be picked up, (aheeemmmm) e'thing started awesome. And besides the slushy weather. And besides Liz's tire popping, IT WAS AWESOME. Loved being back in the Mile High.
Chris, I really appreciated all your help in carting us around. Knew you were hating life cause of not getting any sleep, so your help was greatly appreciated. Nice meeting ya too!
It was nice going back to Pete's Kitchen for breakfast after 5 years. Any Denver-ite who has not tried that, should. Perfect after party food, or pre-party food. Then PF Changs was the perfect pre-party supplement, along with other pre-party supplements!!
The venue was really chill and personable. Soon as you enter, you are greeted by a corn-a-copia of phat psy-porn!! From UV monsters, live paintings, phat tapestries, lil windmill thingies. Defitently some good deco.
Wichdokta, MAN, loved your set as always. You really know how to throw down the nightime chunkieness brotha! Nick, way to represent, a thick layer of dark sauciness with some extra fluff was defitnitly served. Oh-boy-dee coddington would have been pleased! And Abe, my bro-ham-sanmich, your morning set was superb. Nothing like some crisp morning skillets to get me goa'n in the morning time!
All in all, I had a blast!! Loved meeting some new family and I REALLY enjoyed going and meeting Sharon! Loved your place and it was really nice to go and chill in your lovely home!! Thanks again for your help as well!!
E'one, keep it goa'n in Denver and I will see all y'all soon! BOOM!!!

Glad you peeps made it safe from Iowa...the weather did provide a wee bit of adversity, but it all worked out, eh?
As far as things progressing, you need to visit one of the open air gatherings we've been doing for the last few years before making any real judgments on the CO Trance culture...you'll be very pleased, I'm sure.
Check out the details for our Solstice Gathering on 6/20.

yeah things were just getting started in 2001, i think the first all-psy event in Denver was in 2002, PTLF and Wacky Shack getting things going. things definitely ebb and flow here, but seems to be on the upswing now. you really should come back in the summer for one of the outdoor events. I know Alex is planning some and Avery and Lisa are working on something for end of July - Day out of Time somewhere in South Park or San Luis valley.

| Yea, I would LOVE to make it back out for a 3 day festi. I used to be really into the scene back when I was there, and it wasn't even the Psy scene. I was doin a lot of stuff with Roofless Productions. It makes me proud to see the Trance scene progress so much! From nothing, to full fledged stompers! And yes, STOMPERS!!
So attending a 3 day in the Rockies would be quite epic. Everything until June-ish is pretty packed, but hopefully you guys will have one in July or August hopefully.
Do you guys ever throw anything up in Rampart? We used to throw one nighters up there and it was pretty easy to get booked. I know quite a few spots up there. Really pretty up in those mountains. Perfect for an outdoor!

There are a few events in Rampart every year. Earthdance was there last year and Mountain Vision also did a Renegade style event up in Rampart last year. It's beautiful but kinda a bitch to drive on that dirt road.

Wow man what a weekend...and what a hell of a party x 10!! All the good things for an unforgettable evening were in abundance...The venue ya'll have is truly something. Bursting at the seams with goodness...The deco was completely out of control. I love how every nook and cranny were taken care of...Nothing was left to imagination, because we were transplanted into the land of imagination...awesome vision manifested!!!! One small thing for me is...I made this friend...He was hanging up and looking over the dance floor early in the evening, he had a giant green and black head....but then my friend got covered up by a sexy blooming covering over the dance floor...I wanted my friend to boogie with all of us... He was fun!!!
The music I gorged on all evening was outstanding...DMTree was def one of my highlights...Killllllller tracks, I have been loooving the shit out of minimal lately, and what a treat, there was a bit of everything to nibble on...Very ecclectic, nicly done. Witchdokta is nothing short of a spectacle...Everytime is more epic than the last, every time I see this guy it is more special and magical...Rich, you are one of the most amazing beings I have ever had the pleasure of knowing, thank you for everything you do...I send my love to you and Sonja. Keep saving the world man...
I kept venturing outside, this dirty filty dubstep kept louring me like some guy in a trench coat near the playground lours children...The gentleman with the long dreads was that guy...Phenomenal psychedelic dubby glitched out goodness...People were wiggling everywhere they could...Fun fun fun...Really enjoyed Liz's set, I love how you guys have a lot of dub step...be in touch with the wubz is good.
Huge thanks to everyone involved...You guys have a great family of loving and beautiful people there...Was so amazing seeing so many friends and meeting the wonderful Colorado family...Thanks to all the dancers who kept the floor a blazin with love all night long...A massive thanks to Sharon!!! It was amazing re-connecting with you, thank you for all of your hospitality...It truly made my weekend...The breakfast was phenomenal, the conversation and company were just as satisfying as the food was...Hope to see you soon in Iowa, or anywhere for that fact!
I love all you beautiful people with all my heart...The best times of our lives happen when we gather...This weekend was no exception...Hope to see you guys again soon. Keep doing amazing things up there in the Mile High!!!
love, light, music and peas.
