The UAD is a good choice, but be sure you get the 1176LN compressor and Cambridge eq with it. Those are incredibly useful plugins but are not included in all packages.

If you think about getting a Powercore, be sure to get the Sonnox Eq, Sonnox Limiter and X5 multiband finalizer plugins, these sound extremely transparent, and the Sonnox limiter has an 'enhance' function that really opens up your sound. I also use the Virus|powercore a lot, because it is easy to edit and sounds like a hardware Virus.

That's my list of stuff i would definately buy again. I wish you good with making your choice

i got this one :: http://www.cwejman.net/cwejman.net/s1mk2.htm
yeah, the mk2.. it's pre-patched modules, and you can dispatch/patch differently by adding wires.

it's just the highest quality gear i ever had in my hands. If your girlfriend has just quit you... buy yourself one cwejman and you'll never be alone anymore.
be careful if you buy one while you are in a relationship.

the price :: hmm, yeah.. ~2300€.. =/
but still cheaper than a girlfriend, and once you paid you got the lifetime ring with

a 10min recording there :: http://www.electrypnose.ch/MusicRMX.aspx

I recently bought an UAD project pak card and I'm very pleased with it. At first (before buying) I thought "how much can those plugins differ from regular quality plugs" well: they do...

As mentioned above: cambridge is brilliant, so is dreamverb and the compressors (depends on the pack).

One remark though: in flstudio I have 92.88ms latency per plugin (in serial) I use so that's quite a bitch to compensate once you start with send channels and all. Don't have the problem in ableton live though.           http://www.soundcloud.com/bandarlog

no no.. don't worry about me.. i married my studio years ago already.

well, it's the way of taking the sound from the beginning.. no fx, no preset..
sure you can make lead sounds.. but it's not what i focused on, till now.
it has another caracter... digital sounds, when it sounds bad, it's not to please your ears... there, you can make it as bad as you want, it still sounds great

I'm thinking my next purchase will be to save the money & use it to take off time from work, so I can spend a solid block writing music.           Keep The Faith,

my latest purchase (today actually) was a pair of quicklok monitor stands and a pair of auralex mopad's... i dont want to exaggerate but the sound is improved by atleast a 30%

i consider that a smart purchase.           http://www.landmark-recordings.com/
