hello freaks..
i have a pleasure into announced a nexus-media records tour in Brazil, in this time will come 3 of most highlights and powerfull projects from Nexus-Media:

:: SLUG ( Nexus-media ) ::
Slug is the psytrance project of Liam Gibbs, 28, an electronic music producer from Cape Town, South Africa.
The Slug sound is powerful but melodic, combining elements of old-school goa and psy-trance with modern dancefloor grooves and production technique. Liam is also one half of the duo "Pitch Hikers" and co-owner of the Nexus Media record label together with Shift.
Slug began releasing his music internationally in 2003, and has built a dedicated following of trance lovers since then both in South Africa and abroad, with 2 solo albums to his credit, one collaboration album as the "Pitch Hikers" project, and over 20 individual tracks released on compilations from labels around the world. His latest album "Elemental" was released on Nexus Media in October 2006.
Slug has performed at festivals and clubs around the world, including Japan, Germany, Portugal and Israel, as well as all of the legendary outdoor parties in and around Cape Town, including Vortex, Alien Safari, Timecode, Groovy Troopers etc.

Pitch Hikers is a collaboration between Nexus label owners Shift and Slug.
After years of working together as composers, DJs, party organisers and spliff rollers, Shift and Slug decided to put together a full length album of the special musical madness that happens when they put their heads together. The result is "Pitch Hikers - Twilight Zone", written throughout 2005, released on Nexus Media in January 2006, and tested on dancefloors around the world.
From the press release: "Twilight Zone has sickeningly large and boisterous leads, but also huge soundscapes and slow deep emotions. Its got melody, but cranking techno too, and an attitude. Its slightly aggressive, but entertaining and playful as well. Its perfect for the transition from night to day."
Pitch Hikers have now completed their 2nd album "Sting", an eagerly anticipated follow up to the "Twilight Zone" project.

Chris Hoy was born in Johannesburg, South Africa on 10th Dec 1978.
Since early childhood Chris has played musical instruments and studied music in various forms, but it was only while completing his university degree that he realized his passion for dance music and his ability to produce it was discovered as he toyed with software on his bedroom PC.
