Hi all.
I'm addicted to darkpsy - now I've started producing something similar myself, and it's 120bpm...here's a little 20-second clip of the first draft (lots of work still to do):
What I'm looking for are dj mix sets or compilations of darkpsy/night-time/dark-trance of around the 120-130bpm vibe.
I did a set myself once, where i pitched down classics from Parus, Derango, Dronebixie, Psykovsky and more...it works surprisingly well. There must be some producers and dj's who are playing this stuff.
I did find a thread here already from August, but that was only a few suggestions of 140-145bpm stuff.
Any ideas?
Cheers.

Digging the swamp trance. Sounds like stoner rock, but psytrance. Pretty cool.
I was expecting it to sound like dark minimal or dark progressive, but it's not.
Keep it up, and hope to catch this on the west coast sometime.

No long sets yet recorded but i sure hope it will come. And yes cool thing you can really slow stuff down in this kind of music and does not lose quality in comparison with other stuff.
Hey i've been just doing that and i thought people are not very in to this slower tempos

everyone,
nice to hear the fresh music you've been suggesting.
I might do another pitched-down darkpsy mix set and upload it somewhere. I didn't upload the last one I did as it had quite a few beatmatch-mistakes. I used a Gemini CD Deck thing, which didn't even have a bpm counter, as I'm not particularly skilled as a DJ anyway the track-transitions weren't that great.
I might use Traktor next time.

if you're interested in the concept of drastically altering track BPM Ableton is really really awesome at it.
