I didn't realize that this had anything to do with Logologie - although there are some hints of it... I find the arguments in the first article somewhat sane (without having the necesary background to either confirm nor falsify them), and I think it raises a valid question. Not to say that I belive the statement (far from it so far...)
To me it sounds more like "you should eat a LOT of fish, it's good for you" - then 5 years later "fish are full of lead and other crap, so don't eat it..."... Hindsight wisdom, that if applied in time can prevent some serious damage. Or it could be total BS, that can be proven wrong.

heh... maybe this article applies to the "1920's way" of mp3 encoding but nowadays mp3 encoding cuts different freqs in each track, no way u can tell before u encode which freqs will be gone... mp3 cuts soft sounds out of the audio file; soft sounds follow after hard sounds. Humans cant hear soft sounds anyway.. just impossible for our brain. so if ur brain and ear cant registrate these soft sounds anyway how can it damage ur brains or anything else then? im not a professor but dont think it sounds very logical
ill push u over the edge, and will be smiling when u cant take anymore, at that point ill push a little harder till u experience true psychdelica |
